Tips on operating the
Leister Labor <S> with Blower
On the blower box is an illuminated on/off
switch and red potentiometer knob for controlling the volume of air.
On the Labor S hot air tool is a red
potentiometer knob for the stepless adjustment of the heating
capacity. All the carried nozzles and reflectors can be fitted on
the Labor s is seconds. After pushing on the new nozzle the clamping
screw is tightened with a normal screwdriver. The Labor S can be
held in the adjustable clamping arm or it can be hung from the hook
on the stand. The plug in the element is doubly protected by a
photocell and Klixon thermostat. Any setting can be chosen,
independent of which nozzle is fitted, without damage to the tool.
After setting the two potentiometers the required temperature is
reached in about 3-4 minutes. Temperatures are measured in 5mm from
the nozzle.
Caution:
After 1200 working hours check the carbon
brushes on the blower unit. Take care when working with the Labor S
near inflammable material, since incorrect use can cause fire.
