This Leister Ghibli Hot Air Tool was made in October, 1975. From the discussion I had with the owner of the tool we both agreed the parts appeared to be of original factory specs. He had purchased it over 10 years ago at a surplus store and had traded some of his handy work for the tool. Currently he uses the Ghibli Hot Air Tool to weld HDPE plastics, making repairs to kayaks and other water activity devices.
